The incident, which occurred around 7 p.m. at Qualité Los Angeles, located in Kenneth Village, was captured on security footage showing the thief's exit toward an awaiting vehicle.
According to NBC Los Angeles, the man engaged the store manager by inquiring about a shoe size before bolting with the goods. The manager, Anthony Montes, expressed the impact of the theft on the small business, stating, "It sucks when it's a small business that's being messed with," adding that it's "nothing that we can't move forward from." While no arrests had been made as of Sunday, a police report has been filed in the hopes of apprehending the individual responsible.

Montes recalled the man expressing a $500 budget and requesting shoe sizes not present on the store floor. Eyewitnesses outside the shop described the getaway vehicle: an older, white BMW 330 with black rims.
