
An 11-year-old boy reported missing from his Middleburg home was found safe today after search efforts by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), the Clay County Fire Rescue Department (CCFRD), and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).
Authorities had issued a call for public assistance to help locate the child. "This afternoon, an 11-year-old boy was reported missing from his home in Middleburg and sparked an all hands on deck response by the CCSO, CCFRD, and JSO," the CCSO stated in a social media post. Law enforcement agencies coordinated efforts to locate the boy and ensure his safe return.
The CCSO did not release additional details regarding the circumstances of his disappearance or how he was located. The agency expressed gratitude toward those who assisted in the search.
