
Attention drivers: I-15 near the Resort Corridor will have lane reductions and ramp closures starting Sunday. The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will install loop detectors and test a new wrong-way driver alert system to improve safety.
On Sunday from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., northbound I-15 lanes between Russell Rd and Hacienda Ave will be reduced to two lanes. The same section will see lane reductions again on Monday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and the southbound I-15 off-ramp to Tropicana Ave will close Monday night from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Southbound I-15 will be reduced to two lanes between Hacienda Ave and Russell Rd from Tuesday through Dec. 4, nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The northbound I-15 off-ramp to Harmon Ave will close Tuesday night from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., and the northbound off-ramp to Tropicana Ave will close Wednesday night from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution and consider alternate routes. NDOT recommends checking dot.nv.gov, calling (775) 888-7000, or visiting nvroads.com and dialing 511 for updates.
