The holidays are taking over Arlington with a series of festive events, ensuring residents and visitors will have their calendars filled with cheerful activities to enjoy. From snapping a timeless picture with Santa at The Parks Mall to soaking in millions of bright Christmas lights at The Light Park and strolling the aisles of the Texas Christkindl Market, there's no shortage of yuletide joy in the city, as detailed in a release on the City of Arlington.
Running through January 4, 2026, The Light Park at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor promises a dazzling drive-through light show that's sure to brighten the holiday spirits, while the Texas Christkindl Market, starting November 21, offers a treasure trove of holiday gifts and decorations, at no cost for entry, according to the same Arlington communication office listing. Those seeking a more adult-themed holiday experience can indulge in the "over-the-top" Miracle at Live! at Texas Live!, complete with "tinsel & twinkling lights, specialty holiday cocktails & tasty small bites," as detailed by the City of Arlington.
Four-legged family members can also get in on the holiday action with Pet Photos with Santa, happening on Mondays and Tuesdays at The Parks Mall until December 16; this is for those who believe a pet's place is right beside Santa in this year's Christmas card. Arlington will also see the return of the Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 13, a tradition that illuminates the downtown area and marks a festive night not to be missed.
