The Arlington Municipal Patrolman's Association, in a collaborative effort with Mission Arlington, hosted a Food Drive to support local families in need. The event, which took place yesterday, provided not only much-needed non-perishable food items for the community but also offered free hot dogs and hamburgers to all in attendance.
According to a social media post from the Arlington Police Department, the drive took place at Mission Arlington, located at 210 W. South St., between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. While enjoying the free food, people were encouraged to donate, aiming to secure provisions for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
The initiative was part of a continuing effort to reach out to the Arlington community and provide a helping hand, particularly during times of festive celebration that can also be times of great need for many. The Arlington Municipal Patrolman's Association has expressed its commitment to fostering a closer partnership between law enforcement and the community it serves.
