An Armstrong County man is facing serious allegations after being accused of sexually assaulting a child multiple times over several years.
60-year-old John Toy was arrested last month, on October 14, as reported by WTAE, following a Pennsylvania State Police investigation. The probe suggests the sexual abuse occurred from 2022 until August 2025. Toy now faces a slew of charges that include aggravated indecent assault without consent, indecent assault on a minor under the age of 13, and corruption of a minor.
The investigation into Toy's activities unveiled that the alleged sexual acts were performed on a child who was less than 13 years old at the time. According to details obtained from state police reports, the accused was taken into custody on 20 different counts. Among them are charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and endangering the welfare of a child, as detailed by WPXI.
Despite the gravity of the allegations, Toy has been released on bond and is expected to make a court appearance within the next week.
