A man has been detained on charges including attempted homicide after a shooting incident in Arnold, Westmoreland County, left another man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police apprehended 33-year-old Nile Rodgers, alias "Red," following the shooting last Monday at a residence on 3rd Avenue; Rodgers is currently being held at the Westmoreland County Jail without the possibility of bail, as reported by WPXI.
The local authorities responded to a distress call about a man shot and found critically wounded in the bathroom with bullet wounds to the torso, face, and arm. Despite his condition, the victim identified Rodgers as his assailant, and Rodgers was charged with not only attempted homicide but also with two counts of aggravated assault, as reported by WTAE.
