An Arnold woman is facing serious charges after a dangerous incident involving two children and a moving vehicle at Memorial Park. Kaitlin Ann Golding, 28, has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault by a motor vehicle, in connection with the event where two 9-year-olds were injured after falling from the hood of her car, as TribLIVE reported.
According to WTAE, surveillance video at Memorial Park showed the two children, both 9 years old, on the car's hood while it was in motion. The accident occurred when the car slowed down at a speed bump, which led to the children falling off. One child appeared unresponsive for a short time, and the other sustained several broken bones.
Golding is accused of reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of children, and additional traffic violations. The criminal complaint detailed that the incident took place on October 13, when, after New Kensington Police were able to view the park's surveillance footage, which showed the sequence of events.
