Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton will speak at the University of North Texas on November 10 at an event hosted by the university's Turning Point USA chapter. Paxton said, "I am honored to join the UNT Turning Point chapter to continue to show these conservatives that they are not alone and that they are on the right side of history in this fight for truth and freedom," according to the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
The event will take place in the Lyceum Theater within the University Union Building, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. CT and the program starting at 7:00 p.m. CT. Paxton added, "I look forward to both encouraging and being encouraged by these courageous young patriots at UNT," as reported by the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
The event is part of a series of recent Texas appearances, including stops in Houston, Lubbock, and Austin. It is open to the public, with students given preferred seating. Attendees and media should RSVP through the Attorney General’s communications team, as stated by the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
