A teen has been charged as an adult for a shooting that occurred in southeast Baltimore, involving two 17-year-olds, according to local law enforcement. The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) disclosed that the teenage suspect, apprehended over the weekend, is facing charges for an incident from early October.
The incident reported by FOX Baltimore took place on October 5, around 5:46 p.m., wherein BPD officers discovered a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the leg after responding to the 1000 block of North Luzerne Avenue. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition. The Southeast District Shooting detectives commenced an investigation, which culminated in the arrest of the fellow 17-year-old last Saturday.
In a detailed account of the arrest and charges, Baltimore Witness reported that the juvenile suspect was taken to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged as an adult with attempted first-degree murder.
