
Governor Bill Lee has appointed Bethany Glandorf to the 20th Judicial District Circuit Court, filling the seat left vacant by the retirement of Judge Phillip Robinson. According to an official statement from the Tennessee Courts, Glandorf most recently served as a special master for the Third Judicial District Circuit Court.
Glandorf holds degrees from the University of South Carolina and the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She has previously served in roles that involved research and providing recommendations on complex legal matters. Glandorf will assume her duties on the 20th Judicial District Circuit Court immediately.
The role of a circuit court judge involves presiding over civil and criminal cases and managing responsibilities that affect both individuals and communities. Glandorf’s previous experience as a special master involved handling complex legal matters and providing recommendations to the court.
