The Big Island Drug Court has issued outstanding bench warrants, and the Hawai‘i Police Department has now sought assistance from the public to locate two individuals suspected to be in the Ocean View area. 41-year-old Robert Teinauri-Carman, also known as "Tamatoa," and 34-year-old Kira Lazar have become persons of interest, with the authorities believing the duo may be together.
According to a statement made by the Hawai‘i Police Department, Teinauri-Carman is described as standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, also with a distinctive physical characteristic, extensive tattoos covering his chest, arms, and back, whereas Lazar is a bit taller at 5 feet 9 inches, lighter at 130 pounds and shares the same color palette for hair and eyes—and not without her own ink, tattoos adorning both of her arms.
Law enforcement officials have reminded the public that hiding or aiding an individual with an active warrant is itself a crime that could have legal repercussions for those involved. Detailed descriptions of the wanted persons and information on how the public can provide tips have been released, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in bringing these individuals to justice and ensuring public safety.
