The search for a man who went missing after falling off a jet ski in Harris County has ended. A body, believed to be the missing man, was found after a two-day search involving several agencies, as reported by KHOU.
A man renting a jet ski with his partner on Muleshoe Lake, connected to the San Jacinto River, drowned on Tuesday around 6 p.m. The couple stopped on an island to rest, and the jet ski drifted away. The man swam after it but began struggling in the water without wearing his life vest, according to FOX 26 Houston.
The body of a 33-year-old man was found on Thursday afternoon in the water near Cypress Street and Muleshoe Lake. The Houston Fire Department and Harris County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team led the recovery, with help from Highlands, Sheldon, and Crosby Fire Departments.
