
The City of Chandler, in partnership with Chandler-Gilbert Community College and the Chandler Unified School District, has announced LEAD Chandler: Emerging Leaders Cohort, a new program for young adults aged 17–24 who live, work, or study in Chandler. The program will take place on February 20–21, 2026, and is designed to develop leadership skills through workshops, team challenges, and real-world experiences.
According to the City of Chandler release, participants will focus on topics such as civic engagement, ethical leadership, and emotional intelligence. They will also have opportunities to meet local nonprofit representatives, business leaders, and community members.
The program will be held at the Pecos Campus of Chandler-Gilbert Community College, located at 2626 E. Pecos Road, Chandler. Sessions will run from 4–8 p.m. on February 20, and from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. February 21. Meals will be provided—dinner on February 20 and breakfast and lunch on February 21.
Applications are due by December 5 and only 30 spots are available. More information and the application form can be found on the LEAD Chandler website.
