Drawing innovators and founders from across the city, the week-long celebration is set to spotlight the diversity and resilience of the local startup scene, Charlotte Economic Development is preparing for over 20 events including workshops, panels, and celebrations, working alongside various local nonprofits, educational institutions, tech leaders, and startup support organizations to deliver content. "Global Entrepreneurship Week is a celebration of our city’s entrepreneurial spirit and a reminder of how far we’ve come," Mayor Lyles said in a statement, emphasizing the collaborative essence pivotal to Charlotte's continuing economic evolution.

Among the highlights, GEW Charlotte will be hosting its notable networking event at the Skyline Room at Heist Brewery and Barrel Arts tomorrow from 5-7 p.m., complementing the week's offerings is the JA Entrepreneurial Pitch Competition, a collaboration between Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas and UNC Charlotte’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the competition is expected to draw a significant crowd at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
