The Charlotte County Commission is gearing up for a discussion-heavy workshop next week. On the agenda next Tuesday meeting are topics such as updates to clinic and pharmacy operations, credit card billing fees, and space for comments from the commissioners, administrator, and county attorney.
The workshop is set to kick off at 9 a.m., housed in Room 119 of the county’s Administration Center located at 18500 Murdock Circle in Port Charlotte, as revealed by a news release from the county. Residents interested in the proceedings can attend in person, but they won't have the opportunity to voice their opinions or concerns during the meeting. This could be a point of contention for those seeking active engagement with local government decisions. According to the Charlotte County news release, the commissioners' remarks, along with those of the county administrator and attorney, will also be a central feature of the meeting.
