Wednesday warms up even more to a high near 76 under sunny skies, followed by a mostly cloudy night with lows around the 50s, the clear skies continue through Thursday with a high near 75 before cloud cover increases, leading to a cooler night around 57 degrees.
As we head towards the weekend, temperatures look to hold steady, with a mostly cloudy Friday seeing a high near 77 and at night, there's a 30 percent chance of rain after 1 am, carrying a partly sunny Saturday with a high near 74, conditions are looking largely stable except a slight chance of rain Friday night, an outlook provided by the National Weather Service's detailed forecast.
The National Weather Service's Hazardous Weather Outlook cautions about the potential for wildfires today due to the combination of very low humidity and dry vegetation, however, looking from Tuesday through Sunday, no hazardous weather is expected to impact Piedmont North Carolina, western North Carolina, and Upstate South Carolina areas.
