
The Chicago Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 17-year-old Lakayla Wessel, last seen in the area of the 3600 block of W. Fillmore, according to a news release published on the department's official website. Wessel, described as a Black female with a medium complexion, stands at 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs around 125 pounds, and has distinctive red and black hair along with a nose ring on the left side.
Reports indicate that Wessel has been missing since November 4, 2025, and there is a concern that she may need medical care. The release noted she might be located near the 7900 block of S. Ellis, but no further details regarding her disappearance or condition have been released by the authorities.
