Constable Mark Herman's Office was the scene of a prompt law enforcement response last week, following a reported altercation in the 22000 block of Sheffield Gray Trail. Deputies were dispatched to the location on October 29, after receiving a call regarding a disturbance, according to a statement from the Constable's Facebook page.
Upon their arrival, deputies swiftly detained Christopher Moore, the suspect involved in the incident. It was reported by the complainant to the deputies, who later suffered facial injuries, that Moore had struck her in the face, which was causing her pain, and additionally, had threatened her with a handgun.
Deputies on the scene were able to observe the visible injuries to the complainant's face and also gathered further evidence which supported her claims. Passersby could only speculate as the law enforcement conducted their investigation, collecting what details they could to piece together the narrative of events that unfolded.
The collected evidence and the complainant's testimony against Moore resulted in immediate action by the authorities. "Christopher Moore was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault. His bond was set at $20,000.00 out of the 496th District Court," according to Constable Mark Herman's report.
