Clackamas County will select a new representative for Oregon’s House District 51 following former Rep. Christine Drazan’s move to the State Senate. County Commissioners will hold virtual interviews with candidates on Monday next week at 10 a.m.
Residents can submit public comments by emailing [email protected] by 7 a.m. that day. Instructions to join the meeting via Zoom are available on the Clackamas County website.
Three GOP nominees—Matt Bunch, Carl Exner, and Dana Hindman-Allen—are being considered, as state law requires the replacement to be from Drazan’s party. The interviews and appointment process will be publicly accessible.
