Clay County residents with Thursday curbside trash collection will have their service moved to November 28. Those with Friday collection will have pick-up shifted to November 29. The temporary changes accommodate the Thanksgiving holiday schedule, according to the county’s release.
Sanitation schedules will return to their regular routine after the holiday. As Clay County noted, "Normal collection schedules will resume on Monday following the holiday," signaling that trash and recycling services will continue as usual once Thanksgiving has passed.
The Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Facility and the Environmental Convenience Centers will be closed on November 27, in observance of Thanksgiving. These facilities will resume normal operations following the holiday.
