A Cleveland ISD bus driver has been arrested on allegations of child sexual assault. The arrest took place just before the Thanksgiving weekend. Around 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, deputies responded to a reported child sexual assault in the 10000 block of Royal Duaine Drive in Conroe, according to ABC 13. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigated the report and arrested 38-year-old Jonathan Cranfill, a bus driver responsible for transporting students in the district.
Officials have confirmed that Jonathan Cranfill, the accused, is currently employed with Cleveland ISD and previously worked as a bus driver for Conroe ISD. FOX 26 Houston reports that the incident leading to the charges is not related to his employment.
