Residents of Columbus, take note: As Veterans Day approaches, the city is adjusting its services in remembrance of those who have served. The City of Columbus announced that there will be a temporary change to trash collection services.
According to a social media post from the City of Columbus - City Hall, there will be no trash collection on Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. However, recycling and yard waste pickup will proceed as per the usual schedule on that day.
For those who might have missed the date, this change only affects the trash collection service scheduled for Tuesday. The announcement was made over the weekend, potentially giving citizens ample time to adjust their waste disposal plans.
