In a post on their official Facebook page, the Council lauded the "courage and dedication" of the nation’s Armed Forces, acknowledging how these individuals have committed to preserving freedoms and strengthening communities across the country.
"Their commitment to protecting our freedoms and strengthening our communities inspires us all," reads the statement from the Columbus City Council. They continue to earnestly recognize the sacrifices made by veterans and the impact such sacrifices have had on community life.
