A domestic dispute in Columbus escalated into a violent confrontation last weekend, resulting in the arrest of 31-year-old Anthony Stroh. According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers responded to a call early last Thursday morning after a report of a man threatening someone with a gun emerged from a domestic incident.
Upon their arrival at the 2000 block of Pontiac St. around 12:27 a.m., the officers were met by a victim who alleged her boyfriend had assaulted her and made threats while brandishing a firearm. The police did not detail the specific nature of the altercation or the threats made.
The incident led to Stroh's capture and subsequent charging with multiple counts related to domestic violence and assault. The victim's identity has not been disclosed, in line with policies typically adopted to protect individuals in such sensitive circumstances.
