The Columbus Division of Police is actively seeking public assistance as they continue to piece together the events of a shooting that occurred over five years ago. The incident, which took place on April 21, 2020, involved an individual discharging at least 11 shots in a residential area, causing damage to three trailer homes within the 3600 block of Edson Dr. Although the shooting did not result in any fatalities, the search for the suspect continues, with law enforcement reaching out to the community for any leads.
According to a social media post by the Columbus Division of Police, the incident was reported around 2:07 a.m., and upon their arrival at the scene, officers discovered several shell casings. A victim came forward to quickly inform officers that they had witnessed a grey Honda SUV hastily to speed away from the area. Investigators are especially interested in the vehicle, believed to be connected to the suspect.
