The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will host its 3rd Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, at the E.M.B.A.R.C. Youth Farm in Lithonia. According to their official announcement, the event will feature a variety of activities suitable for families and provides an opportunity for an autumn outing.

The festival begins at noon and runs until 4:00 p.m., with free admission. Scheduled activities include s’mores sessions, face painting, pony rides, and a petting zoo. Guided garden tours and honey tastings will also be available. Additional offerings include arts and crafts and a variety of vendors presenting their products.

Kevin Buford, the Department’s deputy director, noted the festival’s role as a recurring seasonal event. He stated, "This event has truly become a highlight of our fall season," adding, "We love seeing the joy it brings to children and families, and we’re excited to continue the tradition for another year," as per DeKalb County.

DeKalb Parks advises attendees to dress for fall weather and wear comfortable shoes. The festival will feature vendors, live music, and other activities. For more information, contact LaShanda Davis at 404-710-6331 or [email protected].
