The Detroit Police Department is actively seeking assistance in the case of Javanna Fairfax, a 53-year-old woman reported missing after departing from a rehabilitation facility in Detroit. According to ClickOnDetroit, Fairfax was last seen leaving the facility at 1600 West Fort Street on October 5 and has not returned home since then.
There is currently no description of Fairfax’s attire at the time of her disappearance. This lack of information may, to some extent, make it harder for authorities and community members to identify her swiftly. The Detroit Police are urging anyone who may have seen Fairfax or have any relevant information to get in touch. She is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
In an effort to widen the search, the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons Facebook page also shared a post reaching out to the public for help. "Please help us find missing Javanna Fairfax. If you have any information, please call the Detroit Police Department's 3rd Precinct at 313-596-1340," the social media appeal states, reflecting the urgency of the situation.
