
The Detroit Police Department is actively seeking assistance in the search for Leon Jackson Jr., a 59-year-old man reported missing since Wednesday. Jackson, described to have a mental illness and additional medical issues by his mother, was last seen leaving his residence in the 2700 block of W. Boston Blvd. and has not returned since, as reported by ClickOnDetroit.
According to ClickOnDetroit, Jackson was observed last sporting a skull cap embellished with "Detroit," a faded black jacket, and pajama pants marked by a blue-and-white checkered pattern. Standing at 5′10″ and weighing roughly 280 pounds, Jackson is identifiable by brown eyes and hair colored black and gray.
The case has prompted an outreach on social media from the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons division, urging anyone with information regarding Jackson's whereabouts to come forward. "Please help us find missing Leon Jackson Jr.. If you have any information, please call the Detroit Police Department's 10th Precinct at 313-596-1040," reads the Detroit Police Department's Missing Facebook post.
