
Authorities in Detroit are seeking the public’s help in locating Willis Black III, a 37-year-old man reported missing since Monday. Black was last seen at his home in the 18900 block of Dale Street before leaving in a white Dodge minivan, according to ClickOnDetroit. At the time, he was wearing a green jacket, a black t-shirt, black pants, and hiking boots.
Black’s disappearance has prompted concern, as he is reported to have depression and other mental health conditions, according to his girlfriend. The Detroit Police Department’s 8th Precinct and Crime Stoppers are coordinating the search and have asked anyone with information to come forward. Black is described as 5′11″ tall, weighing approximately 210 pounds, with black braids and green eyes. He also has a tattoo on his left rib.
The Detroit Police Department’s Missing Persons unit shared a Facebook post to reach a wider audience. The post included an appeal for information and contact details for anyone who might have knowledge of Black’s whereabouts. It read: “Please help us find missing Willis Black III. If you have any information, please call the Detroit Police Department's 8th Precinct at 313-596-5840.”
