The fresh Plano spot commenced service with a soft opening on Tuesday, followed by a festive grand opening scheduled for tomorrow, complete with a traditional lion dance at 11 a.m., as revealed by the Dallas Observer. Despite its larger size, Kirin Court's popularity suggests lines may still be a common sight, especially since Chen echoed this sentiment to the Dallas News, commenting, "It's a full house."
The new Kirin Court resides near Won BBQ, and not far from Wu Wei Din Chinese, promising patrons the same beloved experience of steaming baskets of dim sum rolled through the dining room. Chen assures customers that, aside from being a touch bigger and operating an hour later, everything at the Plano location mirrors the cherished Richardson one.
But it's not only dim sum that's shaking things up in Plano’s Assembly Park, where Blender Brands has just wrapped up its trio of openings. Besides the established Cliff Coffee and Assembly Ice House, Tacoro Tacos & Tequila now serves up Mexican street food and cocktails, flaunting a menu with items like pozole verde and quesabirria, as covered by the Dallas Observer.
