For those in Douglas County making a last-minute dash to cast their votes this Coordinated Election Day, Nov. 4, there's still time to get assistance at the polls. Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPC) are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., offering support for a range of needs, including registration updates, ballot replacement, and in-person voting, as reported by Douglas County.
Accessibility is a priority at each VSPC with ADA parking, voting machines, and booths all tailored for voters with disabilities. Options such as audio ballots for those with blindness or low vision are available, and assistance, as per Douglas County, is there for "voters who require additional forms of assistance" which can include "a person of their choosing to help them mark their ballot or may request assistance from an election judge at the VSPC."
If you’re ready to drop off your voted ballot and do not need staff assistance on Election Day, simply deliver your ballot to one of the 23 convenient ballot drop boxes located throughout Douglas County by the Election Day deadline of 7 p.m.
