Other U.S. openings include Gurnee, Illinois, on the same day, and Grapevine, Texas, later this year, according to KHOU.
Primark is opening a new store at Katy Mills, one of 17 planned locations in the U.S., adding to its global network of over 470 stores and expanding its 10-year presence in America. The store will feature clothing, beauty products, and homeware with affordable prices, and its opening is expected to draw a weekend crowd with giveaways and music, as reported by Realty News Report.
Katy Mills, owned by Simon Property Group, houses 170 shops and will see a P.F. Chang's opening in 2026, continuing efforts to revitalize the mall, as mentioned by Realty News Report. Primark joins other global retailers like Uniqlo and Mango in Houston, reflecting a trend of attracting diverse tenants and boosting the mall as a shopping and entertainment destination.
