
Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri administered the oath of office during a formal swearing-in ceremony held yesterday, officially welcoming 13 new deputies to the agency. Family members, friends, and command staff were present as the deputies took the oath to serve the community, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
The newly appointed deputies have been assigned to several key divisions within the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, including the Department of Detention and Corrections, the Patrol Operations Bureau, and the Judicial Operations Bureau.
The ceremony took place on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Administration Building, located at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo, where attendees gathered to witness the formal induction of the new deputies into the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
