An e-scooter rider has been critically injured in a collision in Boulder City, as reported by local authorities last night. The Boulder City Police Department communicated via social media that the crash occurred on Buchanan Boulevard, where it intersects with Nevada Way and Elm Street.
According to FOX5 Vegas, the victim is currently in a critical condition although there has been no immediate update regarding the driver's status police are still investigating the incident and at present have not confirmed if impairment was a contributing factor in the crash. Notably, the closure of Buchanan Boulevard stretches from Nevada Way to Elm Street, which has led authorities to advise the public to seek alternate routes.
In a related report by News3LV, it has been disclosed that the road closure extends to Boulder City Parkway, with the crash involving an adult male e-scooter rider who sustained critical injuries his condition remains undisclosed at this time as the police continue to assess the scene.
