El Paso Community College has truly embraced the Halloween spirit with a series of festivities across its campuses, reflecting a community engagement that goes beyond books and lectures. The Northwest campus's Counseling Department, in conjunction with the NW Dean's Office and NW Library, led a Halloween celebration on October 31 that saw over 300 students participating. The event featured a haunted house, a costume contest, and a cake/book walk that offered a playful escape from the routine academic grind.

Adding further to the celebrations, several booths had been set up to creatively decorate tables. They competed fiercely, creating a vibe that was both festive and spooky at once. The event, as mentioned by EPCC News, drew not only students, but faculty, staff, and community members together in a shared celebration, marking a high point for campus camaraderie and spirit.

On October 30, the Valle Verde campus hosted its annual Fall Festival at the Americana Village. The event featured games, activities, and live bands, along with various club and organizational booths. It was a moment for the community to converge and bask in the festal fall atmosphere. "This is our annual Fall Festival, and it's a way to give back to the community. A lot of games, activities, bands, and lots of clubs and organizations are here to celebrate the season," said Isaac Diaz Palma, the EPCC Student Government Association President, as per EPCC News.

Moreover, the Mission del Paso campus was not to be left out in participating in the autumn festivities. On October 25, the campus held its Trunk or Treat event in the Law Enforcement Academy parking lot, with the EPCC Student Nurse Association winning top honors for best decorations. There was even a special appearance by Tejano Jack, who was sure to quickly become a beloved figure.
