Among the highlighted events is a shopping trip on Thursday, November 6, set to begin at 9 a.m. Seniors eager to get a jump on holiday shopping can participate for a nominal fee of $5, which includes transportation to nearby shopping destinations such as Southlake Town Center and Grapevine Mills Mall. A reminder that lunch expenses are not covered by the fee was posted on the center's notice. For those interested, a Senior Center membership and prior registration are prerequisites.
In observance of Veterans Day, the center is also hosting a complimentary breakfast on Tuesday, November 11th at 8 a.m., aimed at honoring veterans across generations. According to the City of Euless, all veterans and family members are invited to partake in the festivities, provided they hold a Senior Center membership and have registered for the event.
The celebratory events continue with a holiday luncheon the following day, Wednesday, November 12, at noon. In the spirit of giving, the luncheon promises a free Thanksgiving meal catered by Greens BBQ.
