Police in Federal Way responded quickly after a 26-year-old man from Fall City was shot and killed near The Commons at Federal Way, a shopping center located on the 1900 block of South 320th Street, KOMO News reports.
Officers arrived at the scene around 10:15 p.m. after receiving reports of the shooting and found the victim deceased. According to KIRO 7, a nearby officer quickly located a suspect vehicle in a parking lot, leading to the arrest of two individuals connected to the incident.
The Federal Way Police Department has not yet released the names of the victim or the suspects, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. The area around The Commons, a popular community hub, was cordoned off as a crime scene while investigators conducted their work under streetlights and flashing police lights.
