Early this morning, a head-on collision on MD-7 near the Baltimore County line in Harford County resulted in four people being injured, with one in critical condition. The crash occurred shortly after 5:00 a.m., prompting responses from multiple volunteer fire companies.
According to the FOX Baltimore report, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company rushed to quickly free a victim trapped in one of the vehicles. It took rescue personnel roughly 15 minutes to extricate the individual. Subsequently, Harford County Department of Emergency Services paramedics were handed over to take care of the patients.
The severity of the situation was underscored by officials, who stated that three victims were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries. However, WMAR 2 News confirmed the fourth victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, indicative of the collision's violent impact.
