The search for Gabrielle "Gabby" Terrelonge, the 10-year-old South Florida girl missing since June 30th, persists as her father, Gordon Terrelonge, is prepared to address the media today in Orange County. Gabby was last seen with her mother, Passha Davis, 34, getting off a Greyhound bus at the Florida Mall on the evening of her disappearance. According to ClickOrlando, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is currently assisting the Margate Police Department in canvassing abandoned hotels in the region, as the girl and her family are known to frequent these parts and travel into Orlando and other parts of Orange County using buses.
Earlier in October, Davis was arrested on a charge of child neglect and incarcerated without great bodily harm in connection with her daughter's disappearance, as reported by ClickOrlando. Having known to struggle with issues related to homelessness, mental health, and substance abuse, Davis has yet to provide any credible information concerning Gabrielle's whereabouts. Found in the custody of law enforcement for a shoplifting charge since mid-October, Davis claimed her daughter should have been in the care of her father at the time she went missing, a claim that investigators have yet to substantiate any evidence for.
As the search continued, multiple law enforcement agencies came together to update the public and further the investigation into Gabrielle's location. At the news conference held at 3 p.m. near the Florida Mall, officials gathered, the last-known location of the child to share the latest developments. A special focus of the investigation, as WFTV reported, involved Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies canvassing motels and hotels along Highway 192, where Davis and her daughter were known to have previously visited.
