District 3 Council Member Ed Moore has already begun to actively engage the community, hosting discussions aimed to "provide guidance for the development, redevelopment and provision of public facilities" in the area, particularly around the interchange nexus of Bush Turnpike and Interstate 30. This is all in anticipation of the turnpike's expansion southward to highways snaking to Sunnyvale and Mesquite, according to the City of Garland.
