Goodyear is recognizing the many people who contribute to the city’s safety and well-being. According to the latest issue of InFocus, 95% of residents feel secure in their neighborhoods, reflecting the dedicated work of first responders. As per the City of Goodyear website, the magazine also highlights the essential work of teams maintaining clean water, safe streets, and public parks. The city further honors its veterans, noting that 119 full-time and 22 part-time employees have served in the military.
Volunteerism remains an important part of Goodyear’s community. InFocus reports that volunteers contributed nearly 20,000 hours over the past year, valued at more than $646,000. Residents participate in activities such as city cleanups and planning workshops to support local development.
