
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has appointed three members to the Aerospace and Aviation Advisory Committee. Summer Webb, Aimee Burnett, and Sonja Clark will serve on the committee until September 1, 2029. Their expertise spans aerospace management, business development, and health care administration, supporting the state’s growth in the aerospace and aviation sectors, according to the Office of the Texas Governor.
Summer Webb of Valentine has experience in the aerospace industry and local government. She has worked with Launch Site One and Blue Origin and serves as mayor. Webb studied at The University of Texas at El Paso.
Aimee Burnett of Southlake has more than 20 years of experience at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, including work in F-35 Business Development. She has a background in engineering and systems and has been involved with educational and international organizations.
Sonja Clark of Amarillo has experience in aerospace and health care. She is the site leader for Bell Textron’s Assembly and Delivery Center and has held leadership positions in healthcare. Clark is also involved with educational, food security, and women’s health organizations.
