Governor Greg Abbott has made his move to reinforce the State Board for Educator Certification by reappointing Julia Faye Dvorak for a term that won't see its end until 2031. According to the Office of the Texas Governor, reported on November 13, it secures Dvorak's position in shaping the future of Texas educators for several years to come.
Julia Dvorak, founder of the public relations firm Dvorak & Co., has long been involved in public service and community work around Liberty Hill. She and her family are also active with Victory City Church, where they participate in educational and community programs.
The academic chops to back her position come from the University of Texas at Austin, where Dvorak earned herself a Bachelor of Science in Political Communication. Not content with just one accolade, she's also certified in Ethics & Leadership in Law, Politics, and Government. All of this amounts to a bouquet of skills that Abbott and his administration seem confident will continue to serve the State Board for Educator Certification well.
