A tragic incident unfolded in Mercer County, where a pedestrian lost her life after being struck by a vehicle near Grove City Outlets. WTAE reported that the accident took place on Center Church Road, close to the intersection with Amsterdam Road, as the 68-year-old Melissa Biddle of Grove City was making her way on foot.

The vehicle involved was executing a right turn when it collided with Biddle. Emergency services responded to the scene shortly after the incident, which occurred just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Biddle was subsequently transported to AHN Grove City Medical Center, although, sadly, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

The Mercer County Coroner's Office, according to CBS News, determined that Biddle died from blunt force injuries to the chest as a result of the crash. The time of the accident was pinpointed around 1:30 p.m. on the same day. Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating the crash. The driver’s identity has not been released, and it’s unclear whether any charges will be filed.
