
Residents near Hackmatack Way saw increased police activity after deputies responded to a suspicious person call connected to an outstanding warrant. Dewayne Adams was found to have an active Assault on a Police Officer warrant from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and was arrested without incident, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The incident involved the routine serving of a warrant by county officials. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 deputies said the arrest was completed without any escalation.
"Dewayne Adams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for his active warrant," according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, though details on his bond and court information have not been released.
