A burglary attempt was stopped in Harris County last Wednesday when deputies intercepted Neppie Richardson trying to forcefully enter an apartment on the 300 block of North Vista Drive. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office responded quickly and found Richardson had no connection to the residence, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Neppie Richardson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Burglary of a Habitation, a 2nd-degree felony," Constable Mark Herman's office announced. Richardson is expected to receive a court date soon in the 230th District Court, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, Richardson’s actions showed intent to break into an apartment. He is awaiting bond proceedings. The public is asked to report suspicious activity and can get updates through Constable Herman’s social media and the “C4 NOW” app.
