The Harris County Sheriff's Office, along with the FBI, DEA Houston Division, U.S. Marshals Service, and Texas Department of Public Safety, conducted an operation targeting violent offenders, resulting in 80 arrests and the clearance of 103 warrants. The focus was on individuals with histories of serious crimes, including sexual assaults against children.
Among those arrested was unlicensed chiropractor Joshua Gomez, accused of sexually assaulting patients in Katy, Texas over several years. Detective Amy Seaton said, "The case came from an outcry that was made after the last arrest. He was technically under an emergent suspension at the time of this offense and he surrendered his license later that month to the state to where he was no longer a chiropractor," and Gomez faces charges involving 13 women, with authorities suspecting more victims may exist, according to Click2Houston.
Roberto Arnaldo Vasquez III was arrested for prolonged sexual abuse of a young girl, and Wilfred Sequeiros, a former educator, was arrested for sexual and physical abuse of several children. The Harris County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information on Joshua Gomez or other cases to come forward. Sheriff Gonzalez said, "If you commit violent crimes in Harris County, we are coming for you," as per Fox26 Houston.
