A Hillsborough County man, identified as Jordan O'Keefe Woods, 32, of Seffner, is facing life in federal prison after being indicted on charges related to sex trafficking and inducing an individual to travel for the purposes of prostitution, a somber narrative that chronicles yet another chapter in the ongoing ledger of human indignities. According to an indictment brought forth by United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe, which was reported yesterday, Woods was charged with two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of inducement to travel to engage in prostitution.
The indictment alleges and not to minimize the gravity of such accusations, that Woods knowingly operated within the draconian marketplace of human flesh, trafficking Victim 1 between September 22, 2024, and July 22, 2025, employing force, threats of force, fraud, and coercion to have the victim perform commercial sex acts; this is further exacerbated by claims that Woods facilitated the travel of the same victim from North Carolina to Florida for prostitution and sexual activity on September 20, 2024, and July 20, 2025.
The investigative rigors that brought Woods into the judicial spotlight were a collaboration between Homeland Security Investigations and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, with Assistant United States Attorney Courtney Derry set to steward the prosecution efforts.
