Honolulu's own Officer Ashley Lacomette has been named District 4's Employee of the Third Quarter, a commendation highlighting her exceptional performance in serving the area affectionately known as the Windward Side of O‘ahu. According to the Honolulu Police Department's announcement, her unflagging dedication and contributions have made a marked difference in the communities of Kahuku, Kāneʻohe, Kailua, and Waimānalo.
Throughout the past quarter, Lacomette has been a force for proactive law enforcement, a reality reflected in the more than 400 citations she issued for various infractions ranging from traffic to parking violations. She also demonstrated her resolve for upholding the law with approximately 200 approved reports and an impressive tally of 12 arrests—bringing about 22 total charges against those apprehended.
As stated by the Honolulu Police Department, "Officer Lacomette continues to excel as a standout officer with a strong work ethic and a constant desire for improvement."
